When application developers upload a new version of their application to the Azena Application Store, it is possible to update the application installed on a device. Also, users must update their application license when they want to extend their trial license or upgrade their application from trial to licensed. The updates can be easily performed and synced through Azena Device Management Portal for the devices in the online environment.
Nevertheless, the app has to be reinstalled via the Azena Device Management Tool to update the app for the offline case. In this case, the uninstallation of an app is not required. Reinstalling the app will update the app license and preserve the previous configuration.
Please note that the notification message will appear during the reinstallation process, indicating that there is an already installed app. Simply click "Continue" to proceed. This reinstallation process allows you to update the existing license to the new license while preserving the previous app configuration.
