Release date: 2023, 31 March
Dear Partners,
Today we would like to inform you about several upcoming changes to the Azena platform as well as give you an update on the general way forward.
Azena had announced the discontinuation of all external sales and marketing activities, further development of the platform, and a shift of focus to Bosch internal Business in December 2022. It was also highlighted that Azena will be fully honoring all contractual obligations towards partners and customers. This is unchanged and, in this context, Azena will ensure the fixing of major bugs and provisioning of security updates for the Azena OS until the end of 2025 (E2025) and provide these updates to their camera partners.
For how long Azena camera partners plan to keep their devices in the market and/support existing devices is outside of Azena’s decision scope. Please reach out to the respective camera manufacturers to learn more.
Until E2025, Azena will also generally allow customers to purchase, provision, and update apps that are published in the Azena Application Store for supported camera devices. Developers will equally be able to publish apps and upload app updates and fixes to the Azena Application Store for our established key countries until E2025. However, the scope and nature of each of the above-mentioned functionalities is subject to further change over the coming months.
Also, Azena support will continue to be available at https://support.azena.com.
We will detail the upcoming changes to the Azena Platform that are already clear for the rest of 2023 in the following. [1] In case further changes will be planned, we will update you in due time.

Immediately: The free Azena tools for users and integrators of Azena supported cameras, currently available in the Azena Application Store, will not be updated further
The following free tools will continue to be available in the Azena Application Store, but Azena will not continue to develop or maintain these any further and provide no more updates.
