Once installed and licensed, an application can also be uninstalled from the camera. In this case, the license is being returned to the license pool. It can then be installed on another device.
Applications can be uninstalled from the Device Management Portal and Device Management Tool.
Uninstalling the application through the Device Management Portal
A prerequisite to uninstall the application using the Device Management Portal is that the camera is in an online environment - it has access to the Internet. Also, the user has to have permission to manage cameras.
Steps to uninstall the application are as follows:
- log into the Device Management Portal
- select the camera from which you wish to uninstall an application and select the application you wish to be uninstalled:
It will take a couple of minutes for the application to be uninstalled from the camera.
