Notes: WHY DONT THEY NOTIFY US FOR THE UPDATES? THIS ONE CLICK TRIAL change effects many other documentations as well (Initially trial licenses can also be assigned to projects), also had quantities of trial license,, still in the app store, purchase quantity of the trial license could be selected etc...
Possible issues:
From DMT version 2.42.0, and DMP, the trial app quantity is not shown. Also when installing trial on cameras using DMT doesn't even show if it can be installed or not (meaning that if the trial has been installed in specific device, it usually won't allow them to install trials again and again) at the end, the installation fails and user has to go to dmp to figure out why is not getting installed, which is because the trial license has been expired. Why doesn't dmp and dmt show the any notifications prior to install?
User can install their trial apps on other companies devices. This might not be a trivial case because the companies won't share their networks normally. But this way, they might can try out trials multiple times using other companies trial license. I thought the license are company-specific no? This won't work, but dmt won't allow you to install app (it just says upload failed) dmp does allow to install but user can see that the app has been expired. At least let it finish! so dmt does not output any errors.
DMT still doesnt show helpful messages when a user with the wrong permission initiate install, and end up with failure. They should really reconsider hard coding at least some cases so that the users don't get confused on their way.
How do we manually purge unsuccessful uninstallation?
